I think I've mentioned that I love reading from a book far more than reading from a screen. Given that, the print editor of Sex Kitten's BDSM issue is a perfect match for me.

There's a lot of insightful commentary from a number of different Sex Kitten writers. Their wealth of experiences really allows for a more well rounded view on what BDSM really is.

After all, while I might know all about safewords and nawa shibari and all that other fun stuff, others have no idea what any of that means. Some of the Kittens have first hand experience, some don't, and all give a really good account of how the subject affects their lives.

Everything is very well written and the authors are quick to acknowledge their experience (or lack of) with the subject. We might fear the unknown - so why not let this book bring you into the light of what BDSM is? The subculture is absolutely fascinating and you'd be surprised just how much trust goes into a relationship of that sort. Power play is something that, while it can be explained, really needs to be experienced to be understood. The words can eventually express what it's all about though. Subspace - not so much. That's one area that you either understand or you don't. There's not much else to it.

There's a little bit of everything in here so you'll be sure to find something you like. Interviews, articles, even poems grace the pages of this paperback book. The purpose of this book is to teach and entertain on the subject of BDSM - I think it fulfills its purpose wonderfully.
