The vacation is going pretty good. It made me think though - what kind of sex toys are great (and durable enough!) to take around with you? Adam and Eve happened to be having an End of Summer blowout sale so that helped me with a few selections. I just can't resist quality sex toys on sale! Damn the impulse buyer in me.

The Toys

My first port of call? The vibrator. You'll want something discrete, small, and quiet. The last thing I wanted was something unacceptably weak, though. My first choice was I Rub My Duckie. As you can see, its cute and unassuming. Waterproof and batteries included, this is a great choice no matter where you go on vacation. It's nicely powerful, although it doesn't work as well in a couple situation as I'd like. You can't get it all though, and this is more than great for solo play.

For something a bit more robust and incredibly versatile, the Mini Pearl Dual Pleaser worked well for me. If you're looking to be completely filled up, this isn't for you - its slim and small scale for a reason.

Vaginal, anal, and clit stimulation are covered in this handy little vibrator. When you aren't in a position to haul around a couple speciality toys, getting an all in one mini vibrator is a great idea. Plus, once again, it looks cute (although you aren't going to pass this one off as anything but a sex toy).

Now onto a dildo. In case you couldn't tell, I'm in love with glass sex toys. So there's no way I was going anywhere without one. The great thing about these toys is that most of them just look like interesting forms of art - not sex toys at all. One of my favorites is the Wrapped Wand Glass Dildo. It's a beautiful pyrex crafted glass sex toy and is more than durable enough to deal with the rigors of heavy travel. And heavy bedroom use! Plus I love freebies - and this one comes with a free carrying case. Weee free stuff!

The Transportation

If you're flying, you're going to need to jump through a few hoops. Make sure that everything is cleaned since most likely, they are going to be examined. You should have clean toys anyway, so that's besides the point. Don't bring them in carry on luggage, and definitely don't leave them on or in a position to be turned on. Now to properly protect your toys. While I did keep my mind on durability for my selection, you still can't be careless. On my clearance crazy binge, I found a perfect bag for my stash of sex toy loot. This Sugar Sak (cute name) measures 7 inches wide by 13.5 inches deep and has this nifty patented lining that seems to keep everything safe and sound. At least, I haven't had any complaints yet!
